All I had to do was tell the lawyer I was Quinn Coogin, sign Quinn’s name to a few papers, take his inheritance and
skip town. Sounds easy doesn’t it? Well, as the poet Robert Burns so aptly put it, “The best laid plans of Mice and
Men, Go often awry.” If caught I would hang, but once I set the charade in motion there was no turning back. I had
no choice but to see the game through to its end. |

Richard Dean Taylor was born in South Bend, Indiana and raised in neighboring Elkhart. He was stationed in Korea and
Japan while in the Army, and graduated with a bachelor degree in psychology from Indiana University. He, his wife and
three children now live in Southeast Michigan. After retiring Richard wrote A Righteous Verdict. Being Quinn Coogin
is his second novel. |
